Is triple glazing always better than double glazing?

Not necessarily. While double glazing is undoubtedly better than single glazing, triple glazing does not always outperform double glazing in every situation. The key factors that affect performance include: 

• Glass type (Low-E coatings) 
• Cavity width 
• Gas filling (e.g., Argon gas) 
• Overall unit thickness 

Choosing the right glazing specification is more important than simply opting for more panes of glass.
