Eariler this year we were delighted to welcome Hytech Glass to the Glasscraft family.

Liverpool based Hytech has been established for over 20 years and we saw a great fit with the company in terms of longevity, location, and values.

Hytech was fully incorporated into Glasscraft with immediate effect, with the whole Liverpool team being retained and playing an important part in our growth plans. Investment has already been made in new equipment to quickly increase capacity at the site.

Hytech’s existing customers will continue to work with the team that they know and trust, with the confidence that Glasscraft has both the capability and capacity to deliver.

Glasscraft’s established customer base in the North West will not only benefit from our increased capacity but also our new regional facility and increased team numbers within the area.

It’s a pleasure to have the team in Liverpool on board and we’re excited about the future.

History

Hytech Glass Ltd was established 30 years ago and specialises in manufacturing double glazed units.

The business was bases in a small 4,000 sqft factory in Aintree which employed six members of staff. In 2007, due to demand for our product the company moved to larger premises of 8,000 sqft in Aintree. The company then went on to hire another four members of staff. The growth continued at a steady pace and the team grew to cope with demand.

In 2011 the company moved to a site with a 31,000 sqft footprint, and to date employs 34 members of staff.

Upon moving to the larger premises, a toughening plant was installed to manufacture our own safety glass.

The company managed to survive the COVID pandemic and come through the other side, emerging even stronger than before.

The focus of the company has always been the service we provide to customers along with the quality of customer care they receive.
