Our obscure glass range is rated from 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest level of privacy. The level you choose will depend on the amount of obscurity you need. 

• Level 1 (Minimal Privacy): Allows the most visibility while still offering a decorative effect. Best suited for internal partitions or feature panels.
• Level 2 (Light Privacy): Slightly more opaque, but still provides a good level of light transmission. Works well for door panels where some visibility is acceptable.
• Level 3 (Medium Privacy): A balance between visibility and obscurity, often used for bathrooms or offices.
• Level 4 (High Privacy): Provides significant screening, commonly chosen for bathrooms, shower enclosures, or ground floor windows. 
• Level 5 (Maximum Privacy): The highest level of obscurity, making it almost impossible to see through. Ideal for bathrooms, consultation rooms, and areas where full privacy is essential.

Obscure Glass Options & Customisation 

Glasscraft offers a variety of obscure glass styles, including textured, patterned, and frosted finishes. Many patterns are available in 4mm, 6mm, and laminated options for extra durability and security. For a satin or frosted effect, we also offer sandblasted finishes. 

Some of our glass patterns are multi directional, meaning the pattern looks the same no matter which way it is placed. Others are directional, where the pattern must be aligned correctly for a consistent appearance across multiple panes.
