We’re excited to let you know that we now stock the MIRALITE® EASYSAFE safety mirror, a next generation product from Saint-Gobain Glass that’s a real industry innovation.
Why are we bringing this to Glasscraft customers? Quite simply, it’s safer, smarter and easier to work with than a standard mirror. The factory applied resin backing holds up to 98% of fragments if the glass ever breaks, which means safer installations and extra peace of mind for your customers.
Because the safety layer is built in, you don’t need to worry about applying films or extra treatments. You can cut, drill, shape and polish it just as you would with a normal mirror; saving time and reducing hassle in the workshop. It also stands up brilliantly in wet areas, with strong resistance to moisture and corrosion.
On top of that, MIRALITE® EASYSAFE is lead free, recyclable and made without plastic film, making it a more sustainable option for projects where environmental credentials really matter.
For Glasscraft’s trade customers, this means:
We’re proud to add this high performance safety mirror to our range, and we think you’ll find it a real step forward in both quality and convenience.

Because canopy glazing is installed overhead, choosing the correct glass is particularly important. Safety, strength, glass retention and the way the canopy is supported all need to be considered as part of the specification. For installers and […]

Front doors often need to balance two competing requirements. Homeowners want natural light to enter the property, but they may not want clear glass providing an unrestricted view into the home. Glass partitions can help create bright, open office environments while still dividing areas into practical working spaces. For installers, contractors and trade customers, choosing glass for an internal office partition involves more than appearance. Safety, acoustic performance, privacy and the way the space will be used can all influence the specification. Different glass types provide […]

Fire resistant glass plays an important role in building safety. When correctly specified as part of an appropriate glazed system, it can help restrict the spread of fire, smoke and heat for a defined period. For installers and trade customers, specifying fire resistant glass requires more than simply choosing a glass type. The required performance […]

Bifold doors can introduce large areas of glazing into a home, helping create brighter spaces and a stronger connection between indoor and outdoor areas. With larger glazed panels, however, choosing the right glass becomes particularly important. Safety is a key consideration, but homeowners may also want to manage solar heat, improve comfort or add further […]
