We’re delighted to welcome Ellie O’Donoghue to the team as Customer Services Manager here at Glasscraft.
Before joining us, Ellie worked as a manager in a community care company, leading a team of over 100 staff and supporting 250 vulnerable adults in their own homes. It was a role she loved, but when the opportunity at Glasscraft came up, she knew it was the right time for a fresh challenge.
At Glasscraft, Ellie will be overseeing all incoming orders, as well as managing the office team to make sure jobs are completed efficiently and to the highest standard. She’s passionate about supporting her colleagues and ensuring customers receive the very best service.
Ellie describes herself as hard working, reliable and willing; qualities we’ve already seen in action! She’s looking forward to learning all about the glass industry and embracing the new opportunities this role brings.
Outside of work, Ellie enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dog, and unwinding with a good TV series.
Great to have you on board Ellie!

Because canopy glazing is installed overhead, choosing the correct glass is particularly important. Safety, strength, glass retention and the way the canopy is supported all need to be considered as part of the specification. For installers and […]

Front doors often need to balance two competing requirements. Homeowners want natural light to enter the property, but they may not want clear glass providing an unrestricted view into the home. For installers, contractors and trade customers, choosing glass for an internal office partition involves more than appearance. Safety, acoustic performance, privacy and the way the space will be used can all influence the specification. Different glass types provide […]

Fire resistant glass plays an important role in building safety. When correctly specified as part of an appropriate glazed system, it can help restrict the spread of fire, smoke and heat for a defined period. For installers and trade customers, specifying fire resistant glass requires more than simply choosing a glass type. The required performance […]

Bifold doors can introduce large areas of glazing into a home, helping create brighter spaces and a stronger connection between indoor and outdoor areas. With larger glazed panels, however, choosing the right glass becomes particularly important. Safety is a key consideration, but homeowners may also want to manage solar heat, improve comfort or add further […]
