Glasscraft is an award winning manufacturer of insulated glass units; we also have a wide range of glass processing capability.
We are looking to grow our team, based in LS10, with two shift patterns currently available.
No experience is required as we offer full on the job training, however some of the personal qualities we look for are:
· a “can – do” attitude
· willingness to get involved with the hard work
· drive to produce great quality products
· someone who takes pride in the work they carry out
· a team player
While no experience is required, we also offer competitive rates of pay for those who do have experience, with responsibilities including, but not limited to:
· Toughening of flat glass – to include furnace operation/loading and unloading /arrising glass
· Glass cutting- manual cutting and/or operating and breaking out an auto table
· Manufacturing Double Glazed Sealed Units both on automatic lines and hand gunning
· Automatic and manual insulated glass unit line operations
· Flat glass handling and insulated glass unit handling
· Manual and automatic glass cutting
· Checking quality and standard of glass
· Preparing glass ready for collection/dispatch
