In-house expertise and capability
Glasscraft have the expertise and equipment to create and produce screen-print glass designs in-house. This process is designed for high volume repeat decorative glass production.
The process begins with a screen through which a design can be printed onto the glass surface. Each pass of the screen can build up depth of finish and multiple screens can be used to apply more colours to a design. Each colour is applied individually, with the glass then going through a drying oven each time to fix the ink to the glass. Finally, the design is toughened into the glass by the toughening process.
A low cost, fast turnaround service
Screen printing offers low cost and fast turnaround for larger numbers of repeat designs. We have a range of ‘off the shelf’ designs and can also offer new designs for individual requirements. New screens can be commissioned quickly from PDF drawings giving exclusivity to customers.
